about

Dose IV was recorded sometime in early 2011, the date is honestly unknown. This fourth dose featured a guest musician on the second track, Joshua Swift, who was visiting with us at the time. As usual for these days, Nikolai was on the Korg Electribe EMX-1 run through a mini KP, Mic Litter did beats & sample manipulation throughout the tracks; also additional keys on the first track & tape scratching/ RE-301 tape echo adjustments on the final track. Just like in Dose V, Nikolai was using a MFOS Weird Sound Generator drone kit synth in certain parts of these recordings.
