about

Dose X: Analog and the Smog was recovered from a recording originally titled "09.26.11 Analog Jam." Upon re-listening, we believe this studio session featured a Roland VP-330 Vocoder with a Casio SK-1 sampler output providing percussion to its input. The signal was then run through a Roland RE-301 Chorus Echo, an early pre-BBD analog echo using tape loops that, if certain parameters are tweaked properly, can create distorted feedbacks and zany demented carousels. Combined, these unique sonic experiments range from ghostly choirs to abrasive proletariat uprisings in the streets.
Stay tuned in and turned on, because Dose IX features the same configuration.
